Oceanside Settlements will undertake the following tasks as part of their contractual agreement with you:

• Keeping the client and other relevant parties informed of the progress of the settlement
• Land title searches including any restrictions on the use or transfer of the property
• Conducting enquiries relating to Council rates, water rates and charges, land tax and attending to the adjustment of same
• Conducting enquiries relating to Council rates, water rates and charges and land tax and attending to the adjustment of same
• Notifying relevant authorities of the change of ownership
• Preparing legal documents that relate to the transfer and stamping of same
• Liaising between other settlement agents, banks and relevant parties in order to effect the settlement
• Arrange the payment of stamp duty and any other fees
• Preparing settlement statements and arranging exchange of payment for title
